    Osprey webcams

I have been monitoring two live webcams featuring osprey nests.

The first cam belongs to EENet - the Estonian Education and Research Network. They also haveseveral other live nature cams.
They also have a map on which you can follow their birds: http://birdmap.5dvision.ee/index.php?lang=en#

However the cam I have been following is the one with a Latvia osprey couple.
You can find the cam here: kalakotkas

Then i recently found a Welsh Osprey cam: Dyfi Osprey Project*•*Live Stream
However I do not know anything about the welsh ospreys,

At least the Estonian camera is up and running 24/7 all spring and summer until after the birds move south for the autumn/winter.

Awesome birds, and we have quite a few in this area. They often build nests on the channel markers on the inland waterways and in bays. How they make a nest that large fit on the channel markers is beyond me. If you want I'll dig up some US local cams when I have the time.

The Estonia/Latvia ospreys also have their own forum at: Looduskalender
