    Rear Bumper

Many of us said it wouldn't work as advertised, and that a front wheel would just climb it and/or break it off.

Both of these are low speed, or relatively low speed, street course incidents when compared to oval track speeds.

It is time for IndyCar to loose their baby buggy bumpers behind the rear wheels.....
....This is not the first time this has happened and prove the baby buggy bumpers are a useless appendix.....
I think the writer meant - useless appendage?

Rumor: plans to remove the Bumper (Except Super Speedways, probably bcuz of the Mushroom Buster awesome effect)
I dont know if thats true... or if its an evil plan to make the car NOT THAT UGLY anymore and put aerokits for 2015 with people gettin' used to the car for another season... Lets wait and see.

Well no one has hit a catch fence as long as the bumpers have been on; therefore, they work.

I think you are putting the cart before the horse on that statement. A DW12 has not run over another one on a 1.5 mile oval or any oval yet....
