1618 cm3 turbocharged engine Clio RS 200 EDC is specifically adapted to the competition by the Renault Sport engineers. The kit includes a box sequential six-speed with manual transmission, paddle shifters will be offered as an option on the asphalt release. Renault Sport Technologies is based on reputable suppliers to provide a consistent and reliable clients all: Sadev for the gearbox, Sachs dampers, PFC brakes and Cosworth for the electronic management.
"With Clio RS R3T, our goal is to provide an efficient, reliable and usable vehicle on any surface for an operating cost lower than the product replaced," said Arnaud Boulanger, Director of Marketing, Renault Sport Technologies. "The success of the first generation Clio RS R3 has reinforced our belief that this approach is particularly suited to the demands of our customers. This category has enabled Renault Sport to locate and shine in many markets, including outside Europe with cars operating in Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Oceania. "
"The first tests are promising and long development campaign is scheduled before the approval of the kit. The hands of many drivers, Clio RS R3T roll over ten weeks on land and asphalt to determine the best options. "
The approval is scheduled early in the second half of 2014.
