    R3 Cars

    Following the R2 thread today.

If most parts of 208 R2 can make up a R2 DS3, then maybe the 208 can borrow most parts from the DS3 R3?

Any news on when Renault Expect to start testing their new Clio 4 R3T, or have they already started?

Since 2.0 is out, they need to build the 4 clio into rally car. Does Tom206wrc know status?

    Re: R3 Cars

    Have the following been modified?
    R3C - 1600 to 2000 cm^3, 1080 kg (petrol, normally aspirated)
    R3T - up to 1620 cm^3, 1080 kg (petrol, turbocharged)
    R3D - up to 2000 cm^3, 1150 kg (turbodiesel)

The current Clio R3 is R3C, and the new one will be R3T, as is DS3 R3, right?
Has any cars been homologated in R3D yet?

Good question. You can guess for which manufacturer the rules were changed

It's Renault, the new Clio RS is equipped with 1618 ccm engine.

In Germany they have had a Diesel cup for some years, so they have a few national homologated cars.

There was a rumor that Toyota was preparing GT-86 R3C, so was a rumor about Ford Fiesta R3T. Nothing officially confirmed though.

    Re: R3 Cars

Guys, just a question that came to my mind when I was watching Korhonen's onboard from Rally Yorkshire. What is the reasoning that FIA allows paddle shift gearboxes for this class and not WRC and R5 cars?
