Which day of V8 supercars should I visit in Austin?
For me this visit is a 180 mile round trip. Should I visit both, Saturday and Sunday, just Saturday, or just Sunday? Here is the event schedule.
Event Schedule - V8 Supercars | Circuit of The Americas - Home of the Formula 1 US Grand Prix | Nov. 16-18, 2012 | Austin TX

The four sprint race format is interesting, that should provide a lot of desperate racing. It looks like an either/or case here. The drivers should know the circuit better on Sunday though.

I was there Saturday. From a working man's perspective, I think Saturday should be better to visit this race as you get to rest on Sunday and watch the recap of the Sunday race on Speed TV wearing a bathrobe in an air conditioned living room. Being at the race track for 3-5 hours under the sun and/or also driving there 90-95 miles each way can be a bit exhausting, but it was worth it to me. To anyone visiting with children or elderly people, it should be worth it to buy the tickets for the grand stands. Otherwise, one stands under open sun, which was not at its hottest yet for Texas, but still pretty hot.
