National Capital Rally
Looking forward to competing in the first round of the Australian Rally Championship this coming weekend. Good to have a home round for me. We'll be running our trusty old EVO 5 Lancer in the 4wd series. You can check out results at Official website of the Australian Rally Championship

Is still the regulation with results by heat apply, and not by overall rally ?

We broke a gearbox in stage 2, sourced one out of another EVO, so had to pull it out and then put it in our car.
Rejoined Sunday for the 2nd Heat and were doing well setting top 5 times, we broke a wheel and punctured on the 2nd last stage, changed tyre at end of stage. 3km into last stage lost all brakes, was quite a hairy ride to the finish without brakes. Ended up dropping a few spots but at least we got some points.
Car looks like it's been through a Mad Max film, even have a broken windscreen due to one of our service crew members breaking it in service
Next event for us will be SA in May.

So Devine held on for the win, Edwards couldn't catch him despite a couple of fastest times today. The unfortunate Cronin recovered to 4th. This result should tight up the battle for the 2024 ITRC.
