Well, not much of a debate in that article. They have to start up with distributing results to media/morning papers. Which didn´t happen this time either. Why is that? Also needed is a strong support class which might bring20-30 more cars. Why not the GrE, F classes?

Swedish transportstyrelsen wanted an evidence from Czech rep that the car was de-registered there since the car
have been owned by a Lithuanian the past 10 years. PG managed to get hold of such a paper but Transportstyrelsen
did not approve of said evidence. Johan Eklöf also sent in papers to Transportstyrelsen but those paper or now missing,

The more things change, the more they remain the same...

Many years ago a friend on some advice from me decided to import a 1974 Plymouth Barracuda to sell to raggare-idioter...The car arrive, everything fine...papers all OK..But then somebody noticed that while the model and the list looked at by everybody said Barracude 1971--1975 (or something that showed a span of years that it was same model) but some guy notice that they did not import any 1974 cars..73 yes and 75 yes but (efter olje-kris i Okt -73) none in 1974..
So began 2 years of trying to prove with letters from (was it Kindwall i Hägersten?) the importer and General Agent that everything was the same on the '74 as both the 73 and 75.....poor friend showed the GM parts catalog that rear wheel brake cylinders were same part number but idioten answer "But the ctalog just says 1971--1975, it doesn't say "1974" so how do we know? It could be LIVS
    FARLIGT!!!!"

All this time in BONDED storage under customs supervision.. He could not re-export the car..Could not drop it off the end of the dock.. It had to stay there....
    Nightmare..
And we knew of other 74 Barracuda's which were 100% legal and on the street.
    One envis idiot buråkrat.
    No appeal..

    Poor PG.

This happens every day, in every part of society in Sverige. My old friend John, this is Sweden today and one has to deal with it. Byråkrater have made it hard to, for example own a tuned car for ages. Just think what they also did to swedish citizens in other areas.
