What is the total population of Hulunbuir (not counting sheep and goats)?

Hugely difficult to answer. When I posed the question I did some research on the area. Population estimates are between 2.4 and 2.7 million, depending on the source. It is impossible to be more accurate because out side of the metro area of the city there has been no accurate census done. The best I found last week was 2.71 million in 2004

All of the ones that are considered to be islands. 6001 is the closest so far Taz, but this is still a considerable amount short.
