Whats the best car and championship to start rallying?

I am 19 and want to seriously get into rallying, but theres so much choice of cars and championships, i dont know where to start! So where do i start?

It all depends on money. If you are normal guy on a wage a Nissan Micra in formula 1000 or Rally First is a good place. Try and get a reliable rally car that doesn't cost too much to run, and spend the money on doing rallies.
Have a look on britishrally.co.uk - there are similar threads on that, not too long ago.
