I'm pretty sure the best six scores from the first seven events a driver takes part in will count for points. At least, that's what Wikipedia says.

You can nominate any seven rounds. It can be even last seven rallies of the season or for example first rally in the season and than last six. You make the nomination of each event only in the event entry form so unless You make Your calendar public no-one except You knows where You're going to take points. That's what in my opinion is completely wrong move from FIA.

Ah. I was under the impression that WRC-2 drivers could do as many rallies as they liked, but only the first seven results would be counted so as to stop people with bigger budgets doing more rounds and winning the title simply because they could afford more.
