What a series WRC2 could be, seriously if we had such an amount of manufacturers, or even private teams for that matter.
Lada no money, Renault went for for 2WD cars, Opel non-factory MSD project died from lack of funding with no promising results at all (I remember when Mikkelsen drove it here on Barum rally 2009 under Hankook flag).

Toyota Corolla has international homologation, it was one of the first S2000 and dozens of them were build. Most of them have been used only in South Africa. The car was solid and reliable but too heavy and never developed for asphalt where S2000 were mostly used. One of those Corollas is here in CZ with one gentleman driver. He drove it in national events and some in Germany.

These cars weren't able to achieve international homolgation as Toyota Australia did not have a factory in Australia creating this car, so could not request homologation (unlike South Africa) and Japan refused to do so, as this was back in the day when 'Toyota is in Formula 1 - that is our only motorsport'.
