I first time experience it live (his championship and Ypres win) and I need to say I'm really impressed. He is complete driver - fast, wise!

Interesting video of Paul Lietaer in Rally van Staden last monday (the event was held on 15th of August, national holiday in Belgium). On one stage he lost his steering wheel (onboard at 2min55), he managed to continue by steering just with the hub.
On that stage he lost around one minute, after that he gained back some time to win the historic class. I think several forum members already know Lietaer, he's quite famous in Belgium, driving for probably 40 years already, competing (and winning) in a lot of national and local events.
