I don't think Latvala was holding that much back. Maybe in the last leg but on the first 2 days he was never on the pace of Ogier. The fact also that a bad Latvala battled with Loeb for a half rally though shows that VW has the best car at the moment.

Now comes the downside - I firmly believe Seb Loeb entered the first two rallies to see how a) fast, b) unreliable or c) how slow VW is? Now that Seb Ogier with a second in monte and first in Sweden has proven how good they are I wonder if Citroen board will hasten the move to WTCC soon?
I cant see Citroen stay around to see Seb Ogier and VW dominate :-(
I think Citroen +Loeb want to jump ship as soon as possible and let Peugeot take over WRC under the Abu Dhabi banner.
Citroen + Loeb in WTCC in 2014?

Loeb created a team last year (Sébastien Loeb Racing) and he will go circuit racing. European GT with McLaren MP4-12C, European Le Mans with Oreca 03 LM P2 prototype, possible qualification for Le Mans 24hours and testing for WTCC either this year or next year.

I don't agree that Hanninen was disappointing here. I am waiting (and expecting) to see more from him for sure when he gets as comfortable with the Fiesta as he was with the Fabia but he did a better job in Sweden with far less exeperience of the car or the rally than people like Hirvonen or Sordo.
