Well done to British Eurosport - MUCH better commentator this time. Andrew Coley is a good commentator, doesn't fill silence with waffle and is very technically knowledgeable. Hope he continues to do the coverage for the rest of the season.

If they can now learn to stick to the schedule, we can actually record the coverage to...

800,000 Euros is a lot but then it brings business to the region from the teams, media and fans and it promotes the islands to potential tourists throughout Europe. For sure it is on my list of places to go on holiday one day and I know about it solely from the rally.

The world champion to come? Petter? Or Loeb is free that weekend I think?

Most hotels are closed. Some permanently. Where are the tourists?
Government support is very questionable when hospitals do not pay water and electricity bills for years and have no money for basic materials...

When you will not promote, then you will not get any visitors. Money produces money.

The money from the Azorean governement is a droplet in the ocean of those 800.000 euro. Most of it comes from the EU funds for investment and could not be used on other kinds of projects such as funding the hospitals.
