Interesting. Not surprised to see Ambrose on the pole, and pleased to see Jeff Gordon on the outside pole. Will this be the race to break Jeff's winless streak?

I see last year's winning driver, Kurt Busch in 8th, and last year's winning team (the #22) in 16th.

    Where is Montoya????
DVR . . . . . Life is too short to watch commercials.

I'm not sure it matters where you start, Last year,Kurt Busch started 11th. When JPM won in 2007, he started 32nd. I remember being amazed that he started so far back, but when the race started he went to the front and played strategy to perfection.

Ambrose should be the clear favorite, but the thing with road courses now, they have become almost like short tracks with all the beating and banging. That throws a monkey wrench into the proceedings and could cost a clear favorite the win.
