I really, really hope Tom Sykes can crack it for a win this weekend. Will be so emotional for the team and his riding this year deserves it. Nice to see Hopkins closer to the front again and Biaggi is having a bit of a disaster down in 17th.

Lowes and Parkes look like the class of the supersport field though, as we well know, anything can happen in that class! Props to Imre Toth. I've watched him over the years, always wondering how he continued to get backing to race in a world championship when he was a perrenial backmarker and now he's turned it around and has been quite impressive this year.

And I'm happy for Bryan Staring and Kawasaki for their 2nd place qualifying and looking like they're finally getting things sorted.
