Look what I've found!
Street Fighter fans, check this out. If you look at this pic of Ken, you will see that all along he was really a current F1 driver in disguise!!! (He has a blond wig)

The unmistakable eyebrows, and even the facial expression - it's uncanny. Yes it really is Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso - he has been around longer than I thought.
