As for me, I have quite the zoo - 2 st.bernards, 6(!!!) cats and a nice aquarium with some fish.
Do they all get along? Cats and dogs? Cats and fish?

That must be a seriously big Nano fishtank, 60 liters or bigger.

I've got a couple of fish and a snail myself. Practical to keep until I manage to buy a house and can afford to keep cats and dogs.

That's the idea for now, then when I get my house I'll be generous and get a cat and a dog. I grew up at my grandparents farm and we had couple dogs, cats, horses etc.. and I wish I could afford that nowadays.

My bro got 2 cats and those are, as you mentioned, really expensive when you count the food, vitamins and frequent visits to the veterinarian. But then again when you're addicted there's no way back!

I have a Fluval Edge 23 litre tank and I don't think any fish is much longer than 1cm. The biggest thing in there is the amano shrimp which along with the assain snails help to clean it.
