Perhaps, but in the larger context of a constructors’ series, the intent of which is to build a team, construct a car, procure drivers and race for the purpose of dominating the competition, it can be quite exciting .

A person in Bernie’s position can say whatever pleases him, but it is incumbent upon the field to overthrow Vettel, and RB, just like it was with Mike, and Ferrari. After five years it was finally accomplished after a myriad of different rule and scoring changes finally got him his @ss whipped. Vettel has more quality drivers to deal with than Mike, so I suspect his ouster will be coming forth-with, or something like that.

Ooh, I foresee a debate so intense as to warrant the closing of this thread even before it begins!

I think it is fairly obvious, and I include Mike as one of those top pilots along with Jenson in a good car, Kimi, Hamilton, Britney, Alonso, and if I'm going to include questionable entities, and if I put in Webber, I have to add Massa. It's too bad about Kubica he may be best of all.
Mike's Great competitors at least beat him once. Mika and Mike were very close in talent Jacques who I admire was kind of a flash in the F1 pan although versatility wise he was great. Hill took it personally and won it fairly.
But when Ferrari ran between 2000-2004 You had the likes of the Williams drivers including JPM and Ralf. Both of those pilots won multiple races for multiple teams. Coultard was a cool hand, but at the time I just thought he was Jenson in a better car. Kimi’s McLaren had too many engine problems. More talent at the top now. Is Red Bull as far ahead going into the season as Ferrari was in 2004? I remember the grid walk before the first race in Australia where DC was asked how he saw the field and it was after quali right before the race and he said "I think Ferrari will lap the field”.

Red Bull's dominance will likely stop when the new engines arrive. If Bernie read my blog (could not type that without laughing) he would know this by now.

    .
Deffo agree with you with Kubica, I was devestated when he had the accident, I think he could have been among the greats.
