BIRD WINS FINAL SOL RALLY BARBADOS SHAKEDOWN | Sol Rally Barbados Official Website

Paul Bird won the King of the Hill event in his Focus WRC on Sunday which is used to set up seeding for the main rally. From the footage I've seen online he was really pushing so the battle between him, Skeete, Meeke and the others should be fierce!

I think it is just cool a small Island has enough roads to create a good Rally.....and of course, no one is friendlier than Barbadians....

A friend of mine (casual friend through a co worker) Carl Williamson was down there for this one...finished 37th navigating Andrew Siddall in a vintage Escort. What a field...what an event!

Pity that Skeete and Powell went out on day 1 but that shouldnt take anything away from Paul Birds's win. Armstrong finished 5th in the awesome Starlet!

Didnt feel quite the same following the rally online rather than being out there in the canefields even when I turned the heating up!
