    Lucky find at a Subaru dealership in Tokyo

    I took a second trip back to a small Subaru dealership in Tokyo after hearing the 1992 Prodrive 555 Legacy had been replaced as the show car. Luckily not just one machine was brought in, but three. Was like a little kid in a candy shop that is for sure. Snapped a few photos off.

    Cars are: 1998 San Remo - McRae/Grist, 07 Monte Carlo Solberg/Mills, latest model is possibly a test car?

    Impreza's 08 number plate, chasis #3, says it was used several times by Solberg during that season. Its last WRC entry was Portugal 09, driven by Gronholm.

    I think Prodrive used "1 WRC" reg number on different cars... Now they use it on Sordos Mini.

    It's true, but the change of livery for Portugal (and changing back to the official one) could explain why the last Impreza doesn't have a rally plate. Who knows...

    Very nice photos WRCfan!!!! The cars are beautiful....pity Subaru isnt in the WRC anymore.....Anyway, thanks for sharing them with us!!
