I see rain predicted for Friday , 25km opening stage to the season, rusty crews , ai carumba, hahahha

Not just any 25km, Ellingham. Quite slippery and will rut up a bit for later runners. If it's damp then the roads will tend to be slightly grippier than if bone dry cos the ball-bearing surface disappears, but wet will make it interesting.

Next weekend is the Total Rally

After seeing the dvd on the weekend, roads look good, just some question marks over certain areas that are still being repaired.

I leave for Durban tomorrow night, so will report back after the event.

I'm told the bridge I spoke about before is fully repaired, most places should be ok now. No rain predicted for this week so the roads should be fine, but you don't want to run first on them then, on day 1 at least.

I just saw a worrying weather report showing 56mm on sat..... yr.no in the past been pretty reliable, lets hope they wrong this time.

Oh ok, I saw something which says 13% chance of light rain this morning. I think there is a front coming but nobody is sure how quickly it's getting here.
