    Yes correct I guess that was not so obscure. You could add that this was the 6th place finisher in the 1969 Indy 500. Your turn.

    BUMP. I have tried to rearch this and haven't had much luck.
    It looks like the old Ontario Motor Speedway and that looks like a '72-'74 McLaren, obviously a second hand effort. Other tan that I have not been able to find a #43 of that vintage.

    It's not Ontario and the car although it looks like a McLaren it is not. It is a second hand effort when the car was run by a top team think Indy Winner.

    Pocono? McLaren M16?

    year is possibly 1974 and I wouldn't try to guess the driver.

    I'm thinking ChrisR is right - the "pole" sign in the back of the photo looks like Pocono and the car is awfully similar to Al Unser's 1978 Indy winner.
