Front wing on 2012 Super Bowl IndyCar

Reminds me of the Reynard Champ Cars. I don't ever recall seeing this front wing arrangement in an actual race. Possibly a rejected aero package?

Yup, it's clear that this is the 2002 chassis, and not the 2012 chassis.

The chassis used in 2000 and 2001 were almost the same, but had a different rear wing. On the right you see the 2003-2011 car... And on the left you see the car, which was used from 1997 until 1999.

Ok, my title was confusing. What I meant was an IndyCar in the "2012 Super Bowl" livery. The car is a 2003-2011 Dallara. You can see the pullrod front suspension.

Other angles of the Super Bowl car showing that it's a 2003-2011 Dallara.

Then it is the 2003-2011 Dallara with a short oval configuration as they used during the IndyCar seasons 2003 and 2004.

Went through the 2003 short oval pics and they have the straight fronts. Gonna check the 2004 pics tomorrow. My memory must be failing me as I honestly don't remember that type of front wing on the 2003-2011 Dallara.
