I think that technical support Malcolm doesn't need because he is in sport long enough to have more experience than any of Ford Perfomance guy now. He is only focused on Fords because he is in there all of his life. But he could easily get another way and choose any brand he wants. What he needs is money not some free tehnical advice (probably already know almost all)...
somebody has to homologate the car, parts, tokens, etc. i guess Ford has to do the paperwork.

Since there was a lot of discussion here about the start of Dohnal in Prague with Fiesta WRC 17 I put a link to the video from the event also here:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-gkbFIGWQg

It's a show celebrating the end of season in the city streets (and one classic stage on the outskirts at the beginning) therefore nothing for N.O.T. but otherwise tons of drifts (even very high speed ones) and some broken wheels. Just for your information the city "mickey mouse" circuit has average speed nearly 100 km/h! It's way faster than Zlín city stage from Barum.

Awesome show! Puts some of the horrible WRC SSS/city stages (hello Saarbrucken!) to shame.

At least they have to sign and submit it because FIA doesn't accept it from anyone else but a manufacturer.

One line from Mr Quinn and some suddenly think everything M-Sport has achieved is discredited.

Are people really so jealous of this teams success after all these years..

Probably, no one is trying to dicreditate MSport, Eddie. Quinn’s revelations are surprising as everybody thought Ford support didn’t involved cash, only tech assistance. Still, if a wider support already exits, it makes sense to ask, like you did, why Ford’s name hasn’t been used in the manus WRC entry.

Btw, for stats purposes, unless FIA considers a retroactive correction, Ford still has only 3 titles (79,06,07), as MSport manu entry makes it this year champ. https://www.fia.com/events/world-ral...2017/standings

He will say that his decision is 99,9999% made but will reveal it soon maybe in the week when entry for Monte closes.

I think Monte was just mentioned as a joke. If he would delay his announcement long enough, we would soon find out his decision from the Monte entry list.
