Very Sad and Shocking news to her the passing of V8 Supercars Legend Jason Richards. He was a rare talent and was one of the best drivers id seen in the V8 Supercars.

I thought no news was good news and was slowly, privately recovering from such a terrible illness. It seems not. Terribly sad.

He was interviewed in the pits at Sandown 2 months ago where he told Channel 7 the cancer had metastacised to his bone marrow. He was looking gaunt and his voice was notably weaker than earlier this year. From there the signs were pretty grim.

Awful news, so sad that this should happen especially to a father of a young family, a great racing driver and more than anything, someone who always seemed like a genuinely nice bloke.

RIP Jason, you will be missed.

Very sad to hear this.

Very grim when one has to overcome adversity with the big C and loses the fight. All year Jase had a huge smile on his face and his eyes lit up.
