There is a stage on the Safari (or it might have been Argentina) where the cars drive along a ridge of a mountain with vertical drops on either side.
I remember seeing footage of a Subaru driving along it, possibly Colin in the mid 90's.

That would be my pick.

And keep in mind the fact that nowadays you cannot open your window! It is pretty impossible to open the door under the water. And it is very hard to press out even the plastic window.

Did you heard the sound of flying spring? (during the second crash), this is the sceariest here.

For me, the sceariest stage was SS9 (last stage) I am sitting inside the corner at 2:33. The average speed of the stage is 128 km/h but GrN cars drive something like nearly 2 minutes around 200 km/h on that stage :-)
