More on the Mirage R5 in Ulster:

'Garry Jennings, a two-time winner of the event, pulled out when his debut drive in the development Mitsubishi Mirage was hit by brake and turbo trouble. Used to winning rallies in his WRC Subaru, he was not overly impressed with his first experience of the R5-specification cars on which the British and Irish championships are now based..'

I completely understand it. Because R5 is not so powerful like WRC cars and there is "easier" for normal people buy/rent R5 car. So competition is harder than with WRC...

Peugeot (and Citroen) R5 programs are important in WRC2 and, mostly, on regional and national series. Let’s hope they can fix this mess, once and for all.
I don't know if Peugeot's program in WRC2 is important or not, but I'm afraid it is a disaster. Their results are even worse than they had in ERC. Craig Breen was at least able to win a few rallies. Meanwhile Suarez is down in the 18th position, even behind such drivers as Ptaszek!

And when I see videos like this, I'm wondering what is worse - the car or the driver?

Still, I wish thaem good luck!

All of the psa r5s will be for sale in the near future and no one will be willing to spend money for a car that the manufacturer is not interested anymore.

It is funny that P207 S2000 could be better investment. If you enter some smaller event and your hands are good enough you can be quite on top.
Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise
