Watching the pre-Portugal testing videos of Tidemand and Kruuda, I know which car I would rather have.

Watching the pre-Portugal testing videos of Tidemand and Kruuda, I know which car I would rather have.

On the other hand the Ford looks quite impressive.

For sure MSport will try to use the jokers to put the Fiesta at the same level of the impressive Fabia. R5 sells are essential to the survival of MSport WRC programme.

But PSA makes will probably became a bit behind, unless they finally decide to use their best technical resources on the R5 development.

I think the problem the other manufacturers will have, if indeed the Fabia is significantly quicker, is that they will always be playing catch up, especially as R5 development is very limited. I think it's important to get it right straight away.

Given that Kopecky managed to outpace Bouffier on every stage last weekend, despite not having driven the car in competition before and presumably a lot more set up perfection to come things are looking good so far.

Hoping for some eye catching times in WRC this year when the conditions are right.

Let's wait with the judgments for few more events.

According to Škoda press release the destinations where R5 cars will be supplied till the end of spring are Deutschland, Belgium, Italy and Portugal. That's except Austria where the first BRR car already is. I think it's mostly a confirmation of what we already know.
