True with the Fiat, but when the big boys got involved (Peugeot, Skoda and Ford) their cars were quick pretty much straight away. I think the best cars tend to be born well and then get better, rather than start on the back foot.

Hopefully Ciocco is an anomaly and we will see a better performance on Acropolis, but it has certainly been a shaky start for the 208.

What did you all expect? The R5 cars should be same performance as S2000 cars, Andreucci was struggling with setup first day (which is logical) so the situation is as expected.
Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise

You can say whatever you want, be this is the real situation. Again : Andreucci was there to win. And he failed....
And I'll still use his ''nickname''. I'm still his fan-but that doesn't mean he does not deserve a critic.

No. The author of R5 rules told me personally that R5 shall be faster.

And in my opinion it is faster. Ford R5 is faster than the S2000 cars, probably not in all situations but in most of them if you put the same driver in a Ford and in a S2000 he is faster with R5, in my opinion. Something it is not well with Peugeot, citroen had more caution and postponed the homologation...

The promised "cheaper" cars are based in unrealistic FIA mandatory costs that FIA, from the beginning, knows manus won’t comply. A perfect example for what a ruling body should be!
Still R5 costs are a fraction from RRC/WRC.

If Basso car was equipped by LPG system (not CNG), its engine can be more powerful than normal R5 car
