FIA has denied the approval to homologate the Fiesta R5 before 1st of July and so the plan of Neuville competing with the R5 in Ypres is gone :-(

Zero car depends, after all Skoda is a sponsor of the event. He will be zero car on Corsica too though.

As Thierry said for german Rallye Magazin, RRC has no sense, because it will cost money. The only possibility to start on Ypres was R5 testing/premiere.

Pity. I guess we can see an official Fiesta R5 and 208 R5 maybe on Sanremo though..

I guess that there is a good chance to see Fiesta R5 with factory guys in events where they run Fiesta Trophy (that is also Barum and Poland). Here in our championship it looks like Rally Bohemia (mid July) will be a place for premiere of Fiesta R5 with Jan Sýkora.

Autonews Magazine » Rallye international » Neuville à Ypres en Fiesta R5, c

They report now that Corse as a course car is also a No Go.. Because Peugeot is official partner of the rally...??

But Skoda wouldn't make a problem if it would be driven as a course car in Ypres, so maybe..
