According to autonews magazine (www.autonews-magazine.com) the Opel Corsa R5 is under development at Holzer Motorsport (same team that developed the Adam R2 for Opel Motorsport). Opel Motorsport claims the project is delayed, but apparently Holzer Motorsport is financing the project themselves now (which is possible since it's part of a huge group that's active in aviation and automotive industry as well). To be continued...

Also anyone else heard a rumor that all manufacturers can submit a new (or partly new) homologation for the R5 cars next year?

Good news! It's amazing how Holzer group has grow so hugely! Still remember their colorful Integrale in the early 90's german championship that eurosport used to follow.

Didn't found those images in the tube, just some amateur footage:

It's totally meaningless without knowing what is in the price. For example prices of R5 including dozens of components are regulated and homologated. There are for sure differences but definitely not in 20-30% magnitude.

That's what I was afraid of. I still don't know if I can afford Fabia or not

Chassis number 007, for those interested (for database in ewrc etc). The car looks very nice! The inside looks very similar to a WRC car, finished very nicely. Doors in full carbon, I don't know if other R5 cars have that too? What I heard from Freddy and Johan is that the car has enormous torque, higher top speed which will require some adaptation regarding pacenotes, and in general it is easier to drive than S2000. About the suspension lay-out all they could say is that it works very well, no details.
