We haven't seen any Fabia testing videos for a while.. taking a break for development or just not been caught on camera?

They are testing all the time. Maybe there were so many videos of Fabia R5 so it is too boring for everybody to do the same again...

Peugeot would be crazy to do that. Less exposure and if the car can't even finish ERC rallies..
On the other hand maybe they are running from Skoda.

But maybe Peugeot for ERC, and DS R5 for WRC2, as already mentioned ....?
On the other hand the chances for Peugeot maybe would be better in WRC with restart on the next day.

How many people care about WRC2? For a carmaker the sport is a marketing tool and as such WRC2 is pretty much useless.

Bernardo Sousa is not good example. When he was not driving RRC, he has no chance to be on same speed with other drivers in previous starts in ERC/IRC. This year on Acores it was the same, but he was lucky that all other rivals retired or had problems...
Always there is different view to IRC/ERC vs WRC2 in Portugal between Sousa and Magalhaes. Each of them has his own opinion...

I know how this works very well. There is more aspects, not only what "prefer sponsors". There is lot of things which are deciding what is preferable or not. For sure for them is better to fight for top 3 in WRC2 than to be on the end of top ten in ERC (hypothetically). For sure it is also on the driver how he can present to the sponsors/partners what should be better for them. There are lot of aspects, but in this special case I am sure that Bernardo is doing primary WRC2 as he doesnt like ERC
Nice interview with Loubet ...
