Accelereation out of tight corners seems very poor to me, maybe on par with atm. S2000s from 2010. Sure it is mapped conservatively for extended tests and will be improved in future, but now I am unsure would it reach RRC performance.

yes it seems to me too that has a lack of torque out of slow corners,but is very early and dont forget the absence of antilag in a small motor.Sound and looks are brilliant!

That is like the S2000, and will put more on the drivers skills - that in my book is good !

I think that the appearance You talk about has a lot to do with only 5-speed gearbox.

That's definitely true. Is ALS forbidden by the rules or only is not present yet? I know there were talks about some "green" steps in regulation and banning anti-lag is sure the most logical step in that way (I don't say I like it).

dont know but i wouldn t like to be forbidden.Helps a lot.

Without ALS the drivers will have to go on the throttle sooner, we'll see more left-foot braking etc. More demanding for the driver without ALS, and after all, that's what it should be all about. Of course the sound of a car with agressive ALS is nice to hear...
