I thought it was two years for changes on R5 cars?

PSA cars debuted in 2014 and had their evo in 2016.

But even then the Fabia wouldn't be due in time for Monte.

IMHO the cycle is really 3 years. I donīt know why Peugeot did the Evo after 2 years. Maybe some exception.

I can't see much reason for Skoda to play their jokers yet. The car is still around the best and I suppose they will do some joint work with VW as they prepare the Polo R5.

The road car started manufacturer in August 2014 so the facelift should be due around the beginning of 2018, maybe they'll tie the R5 EVO in with that.

Is it just me or does the Skoda Fabia R5 sounds different now, more agressive sound?

    Probably it’s a 2 year minimum. I believe the Fiesta also didn’t complete 3 full years (07/13-01/16?).
