Jensen tittle is his second national champ with the 208, just like Andreucci in Italy. Salo also got the 2015 Finish title in a 208.

Bonnato win at the Cévennes it's the first one for a R5 car in french tarmac champ.

The 208T16 has already got over 40 rally wins, 5 overall national champs and other class titles, so it's time for the 'non believers' to face the truth: this Pug it's also a competitive rally car!

I don't think anyone here ever said it's not competitive. Reliability is another story... The same problems with the weak transmission still show up from time to time.

P208 R5/DS3 R5 had their chance against Fiesta R5 and old S2000 machinery. With the arrival of new Fabia's R5 to different national championship(s) in 2016, both french "weapons" are history.
Ok, I will still support Andreucci as he has exceptional skills and long years experience, this two facts will be his biggest advantage in fight for 10th national crown.....we'll see.

So if the Fiesta is getting some engine upgrade for next year, do Peugeot have any potential 'jokers' they can use for reliability?

Correct though, the car itself seems to do fine on the whole, just Sainteloc are underperforming. Must say though, hope the Citroen and Peugeot keep selling even with the Skoda around, they sound infinitely better than the others.

Speaking of which, here's hoping the engine upgrades for the Fiesta help it to sound a bit louder.

Every carmaker has the same number of jokers available and I guess that Peugeot had to spend some already but I don't know.

How far are Opel on their R5, any tests yet - or when will it be ready for testing?

This was kind of the idea I had also. It is just that Sainteloc are not performing very well and they are the most visible.
