Big turn-around at Penske

Ever since Kurt Busch opened a vein on his radio at Richmond and got some personnel changes at Penske, their season has turned around. Hope Kurt is competitive for the championship. I'd love to see the look on the faces of the Ford, GM and Toyota camps if the Dodge Boy (Kurt) winds up with the ring.

I don't know if Penske will be with Dodge next year, seeing how their Indycar effort is going to Chevy next year. But, it's good seeing Penske competitive in Cup again.

Penske has his fingers in so many areas I don't think he would have trouble running Dodge in NASCAR and Chevy in Indy Car. Plus, Indy Car is so insignificant anymore I don't think that it would weigh much in any decisions.

Roger Penske's main focus is Indycar and I doubt he'll want to piss Chevy off.

The Indy 500 has about the same significance as a regular season NASCAR Cup race. The rest of the Indy Car season doesn't even amount to the NASCAR Truck series.

Penske's Indy Car team is in a back room of his NASCAR operation down in North Carolina. Chevy's Indy Car effort would be in no position to dicate anything to Penske. And it wouldn't be the first time that Penske ran one brand in NASCAR and another in Indy Car.

Well if you think so, then good for you. But I highly doubt that Penske would want to play the third fiddle Chevy in NASCAR after Hendrick and Childress.

Sticking to NASCAR, it does seem that Penske has struck on something. If they can keep it up Kurt may have a shot at the Sprint Cup.
