I'm definetely interested. Do you know what classes other competitors will be using? I'd like to know before I make my final car selection.

I'd like to do public session if it would be possible.

As soon as I get some response I'll let you know, NeverKnow.

For me I plan to enter a WRC (4wd open) and also 2WD.

I'm thinking of running mk2 Escort from group H (Class 1 2WD category) and '05 Pug 307 WRC for 4WD open category as a second option. As for public session time, any time slot from 17CET to 23CET will be fine.

Please run both, Neverknow as two entries are allowed.

As soon as i create the sessions-perhaps for tomorrow Tuesday (?) I will send the details to you by PM.

Entries are trickling in slowly. I have another entrant in 2wd class (an A5 car) and an N4.

Four others have declared interest-but not car choice..

Got your times Never Know-thanks for participating..

    I have to ask-why the Pug 307?

Outstanding time-I think you are in good shape on this one-and your Escort time was quite good as well...

Thought I try something different from usual selection. The Peugeot itself is a good car with a strong engine but quite big sizewise and it isn't very popular. On Pikes Peak though the size isn't a handicap.

Was updating RBRSR (update 6) and one of the required car packs to update is Proto 2.

Within Proto 2 lies Rod Millen's Pikes peak Celica................nuff said.

If anyone wants to have a go in this beast do so and simply post your time to the thread-we'll do it on an honor basis.

Consider it an exhibition class not counting for any honors....

I tried out the Celica this morning and I'm quite impressed with it though I'm not fan of the default setup. I had to make few setup changes until I was happy how the car handled. Further mention that I didn't had the car that was on the picture ingame, ingame I had a car that reminded a normal Celica A-group car, but the car drove like it was Pikes Peak version. Maybe something went wrong with the update?

So I started my Pikes Peak run.

I had a good start on my first run. First split 3:20,62 with lot of places to improve and when I was 7k in, engine died with headgasket failure.

I thought I was too rough on the engine and took my second run easier. Didn't left foot brake. First split 3:15,87, was little surprised of the time, and drove past 7k mark. I thought I could finally make it but at 9,6k into the stage engine died again with the same problem.

Third run I opted for medium gearing and tried to took even easier. First split 3:23,18 and engine died at 6,8k mark.

After that I just tried to get a time. Picked longest gearing, tried short shifting and feathered the throttle. Made at least 3 mistakes on this run, costing 30+ seconds, but fortunately for me I managed to finish this time: 3:18,09 - 7:17,84 - 10:43,21.

After that I thought I could use power but still short shifting, shifted before 7k rpm not 6k like on the previous run . First split 3:18,60 and engine died at 7k mark.

For my final run for the morning I switch the damage from reduced to off and went flat out to see what the car could do. Car died at 5,2k mark even when damage was off, wierd.

I'm little dissapointed that I only managed to reach the finish once and I don't know if my time qualifies because I had exhausted my 3 runs.
Does anyone else had the problem with this car or is it problem with my installation?
