    Moto gp silverstone advice

    Hey guys.

I'm new on here and was just wondering if anyone could help or give me a few tips. Me and 15 of mates are going down to silverstone for the moto gp on Friday we're going down for the full weekend and we're gona be camping! Only ever been to silverstone once and I bet that was a good 20 years ago! So like I say any tips or advice would be hugely appreciated coz knowing my mates it'll turn out into a disaster!!

    Cheers Tom

Welcome Tips for Tom....Take a brolly, galoshes, winter woolies and bathing togs just in case....tell your kids and your lady that you love em before you leave, don't be led astray by any pit-girls, don't be late home or your dinner will be overcooked and be kind to your Mum. Oh.....wear clean undies and don't speed.....PS have a good time..

I don't know anything about Silverstone, but my advice would be to wander the circuit for the first coupla days and find the best vantage point for race day. And ditto on Rod's tips too .

Stoner looks just about invincible regardless of conditions though Simoncelli is also impressive in wet or dry. Hopefully Marco can translate it into the race. Nice to see Hayden that high for a change but I must admit that I was stunned to see Rossi 3.3 seconds off the pace in FP1, figured it must've been changeable conditions not bright and sunny!

Marquez continues his Moto2 adjustment running at the pointy end again (2010 all over again?) though Bradl is continuing to impress, always in the top 5. Would love to see Smith and Redding have strong races.

Zarco appears to be continuing his coming-of-age from last round. Hopefully he and Vinales can really put it to Terol over the year and make Nico really have to earn the title the hard way.

Rossi constantly 3 seconds off the pace.. Aii that's not good for Italy's supercombi

Closing up on Stoner at the front but as Corny mentioned, Rossi's complete lack of competitiveness is baffling. Colin Edwards effort is brilliant and Crutchlow continues his very impressive rookie season and is looking good for a top 5 race.

again 15 starters, as Crutchlow's out tomorrow

too bad for him, he was doing good.. gonna be hard to get back on his latest level. Though I don't believe he's that special talent yamaha has to look for

Stoner's absolutely amazing.. What a talent, he might think: shouldn't I have made the move to Honda earlier?

Brrrr, cold and shivery after watching that! Stoner led a masterclass in wet riding, Dovizioso fought beautifully and Colin Edwards is superhuman!

Gutted for Simoncelli to loose it like he did. But a sterling ride from Stoner Top marks to Colin Edwards, Alvaro Bautista and Karel Abraham who all seemed to punch above their weight this weekend. How was Rossi so slow this weekend?

Hope all that went were under cover that weather looked pretty bad, and although ive stood in bad weather at rallys I am glad I didnt go in the end.

Amazing performance by Stoner in the GP and Smith in the Moto 2, but I was gutted to see Cal crash yesterday, even if I had half expected something like that to happen
