    Turbo engines explained

With all the talk about turbo engines this year, I thought it might be a good idea to understand some of the technical differences between these and the S2000 'normally aspirated' units.

With the help of Mountune boss, David Mountain, I put together a 'layman's guide' to turbo engines and how they work - hopefully it helps with understanding where the differences come from...

    Hi focusfan,

The base engine has to be from within the manufacturer's range (or group, in the case of VW, SEAT, Audi for example).

It's an old GM (Vauxhall) unit. Turbo engines are 2.0L turbos.
