    Francois Delecour SS8 2011 Monte Carlo

    I know this is IRC, but Delecour did used to be in the WRC so........this is amazing. I was looking at the stage by stage classification and on SS8, Delecour was quickest by 27 seconds. Now that really is rolling back the years. Well done Francois! Great to see you back.

    Most if not all of that 27 seconds was tyre choice. He went different to everyone else and the gamble paid off as the conditions changed to his advantage.

    Well, I think you must be the only person on Planet Rally who didn't know, or didn't understand, why Delacour was fastest on that particular stage. Also why post this on this board as well as the IRC board? Would be best to listen to our esteemed and respected member NOT.
