    Arctic Lapland Rally is live.

    Results from here: http://tulossivu.autourheilu.fi/

[Choose class: SM1=4wd, SM2=2wd. Also choose rally: Day 1 or Day 2 or overall]

First short stage is running, only small differences between the first crews. But Juha Salo was fastest.

Rally has four longer stages today - of which SS2 is live now as well.

    Live-results also from http://www.tenab.net/online.htm (SM=Finnish Rally Championship SC=National Cup)

Lindroos and Salo in problems on SS2, Rantanen suprised me a bit on the first two stages.

Do you know what kind of problems? Salo lost more than 30s., Lindroos more than 20s.

Very good pace from Rantanen and also Nikara and Tuohino.

First I thought it could be road conditions (first two starters), but third car already over a sec/km faster so it seems quite lot to be just that.

I thought the same first, but it rules out. The roads in the forests are said to be in horrid conditions (not SS2 though), because of hardly any frost on the surface, it's just soft snow and gravel.
