Well that's been an interesting week! First time we've won a League Cup game in 18 years (5 of those we were conference so not entered) and we draw Liverpool at home in the 2nd round. Then this morning we've drawn Argyle at home in the JPT!! We hadn't played them in years until last season, when we played them 3 times, and now we've got them again. Devon & Conrwall Constabulary will be rubbing their hand sthough, this game is a good money spinner for them.

Ahhhhh . . . . finally I got to see more Spanish league footie by seeing both Barca/ Real Madrid games.

Real Madrid looked scary good and it looked like they had Barca's number but no . . . .
Messi and company took care of business.

Both these teams are going to be awesome once they get their act together.

For other forum members that follow the other countries leagues: which other club in Europe is going to give Barca and Real Madrid a dosage of their own medicine this season?

Man U are the best English team to stand a chance against Barca. The problem is that they need to not be overcome by bthe ocassion like they seemed to be at Wembley.

Looking forward to the Exeter v Liverpool game next Wednesday. We'll lose though, we never have much luck when we're on the TV

Are you not looking forward to the Preston game? I heard today that Exeter are taking almost 50 fans up the M6!

SuperMessi and DonkeyMou (with Marcelo and Pepe up to their usual)

Madrid have really picked up and played really well but it wasn't enough

    I enjoyed everything about it...especially Mourinho :

Of course I'm looking forward to it, 3 points is always nice. Not going meself (doing motorsport and that) but we should take a half decent following seeing as it's been a couple of weeks since the last away trip and we've got home draws in both the cups.
