That seems perfectly reasonable allowing them to compete but hamstringing them before hand. I would prefer them all to jump to NGTC or S2000 but I guess if some of them can't afford to buy a new car it will still allow them to compete.

lol he we go again with the Jason Hughes story!

Fair move by Gow which might add a couple more entries to what could be a fairly big grid next year!

The problem here is though is that only the BTC spec cars that competed in the 2010 season are allowed back.

So he couldnt bring his MG ZR back.

So only the 4 Integras, Jonhsons Astra Coupe and Hamiltons Civic would be valid for 2011.

It makes sense because they aren't hurting anyone by allowing them and it means guys like Martin Johnson don't have to shell out £50,000+ for a new car.
Please ignore ALL of the above....

I think Martin Johnson did mention at some point he was looking to buy a new car for 2011, maybe plans have changed. I guess there has to be at least three potential entries wanting to run BTC-T cars next season any less and it probably wouldn't be worth extending their lifespan.

I, for one, am a little disappointed to see them continuing into 2011.

However we'll wait and see how the off-season pans out, how many entries we get for 2011 and how many BTC-spec cars return.
