It's done. Another fine win for Garcia in RMC's Evo N+, 43s ahead of Ares R5 Fiesta and 1m29s in front of Burgo 911 (3.8l/41.2mm). Overall and Canarias champ win for Cruz, in his unrestricted 3.8 911 (ex Vallejo car), more than 1m ahead of Garcia.

There is no official power numbers about '16 restricted 911's, but RFEA aim was to put 3.8 models (based in 2010 cup cars) close to 400hp with the 41.2mm restrictor. It seems they've done it, as most of former 911's drivers claim a loss of 50 to 60 hp (the previous power estimation was a bit over 450hp).

But the major complain doesn't came from max power loss but the way restrictor use affects power delivery, making the car less effective and more difficult to drive. Comparing Burgo's and Cruz's fastest times on the 2 Canarias rounds, it's clear that '16 restricted car looses more than 1s/km.

3.6 models (based in 2008 cup cars) also got a 40.8mm restrictor, and even if max power came closer to 2010 cars and they weight 20kg less (1250/1270), their chassis was always considered less efficient.

Big congrats to Mr.Neubauer! He deservs this victory-it is an important step for his career.
I had a pleasure to witness four stages in live and all I can say : Neubauer was atacking all time, he was very agressive, braking late...on the other I can not say same for Mundl and Grossing. Speaking for Grössing-did anybody notice that his Fiesta sounded different compare to Neubauer's??
Second one who impressed me-Böhm with small Opel Adam!
Overall very nice event, perfect weather, not a lot of spectators.....
Next event-Lavantal rally. I expect total attack from Baumschlager. Now he is a hunter....

    Maximilian Koch excluded.

I think this was one of the most important rallies of Neubauers´career. Yes, Baumschlager will attack to the max next time.

so more than 1sec/km the restricted from unrestricted 911s.
Restricted ones with circa 350 bhp looses at dry tarmac asphalt from N+ with 350 bhp and more weight.
about the ''different way to drive'' the restricted ones, nothing new.Same applies for every car.If you drive a restricted 350bhp evo with an unrestricted 350bhp evo is different.
Now we will see who have the guts.Because with 120 bhp more plenty thought that they had ''guts'' and they were heroes. No more winners at straights with the huge power advantage.
    Welcome to reality.
