The final round of the Austrian Rally Championship “Rallye Waldviertel” took place this weekend around Horn / Lower Austria.
Raimund Baumschlager achieved his goal to win all of this years championship rounds and scored another great victory at the Rallye Waldviertel driving his Skoda Fabia S2000.
Beppo Harrach (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) and Andreas Aigner (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) were the strongest opponents of Baumschlager at the tarmac and gravel mixed event.
The final results are still provisional after a protest against Beppo Harrach.
Final results (provisional):
01. Baumschlager / Zeltner, Skoda Fabias S2000 1:45:30,7
02. Harrach / Schindlbacher, Mitsubishi Evo IX +22,6
03. Aigner / Ertl, Mitsubishi Evo X +42,5 .
04. Botka / Szenner, Mitsubishi Evo IX +2:03,3
05. Stohl / Stummer, Mitsubishi Evo IX +2:35,8
06. Waldherr / Ettel, VW Polo S2000 +2:57,8
