    Austrian Rallye Legends 2016 - Admont:

    Unfortunately there was a fatal accident at the event. A german driver went off the road with his Audi Quattro and hit a tree. The driver died, the codriver was seriously injured. The rally was stopped after the accident.

    Rallye Liezen, penultimate run of Austrian championship:

    01. Hermann Neubauer/Bernhard Ettel, Ford Fiesta WRC, 1:19:51,2 Std.
    02. Gerwald Grössing/Sigi Schwarz, Ford Fiesta R5, + 23,2 Sek.
    03. Raimund Baumschlager/Thomas Zeltner, Škoda Fabia R5, + 39,9
    04. Simon Wagner/Ursula Mayrhofer, Citroen DS3 R3 Max, + 5:46,1
    05. Martin Kalteis/Peter Berger, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII, + 7:17,8

    Neubauer already is Austrian champion - congratulation!

    Baumschlager with technical problems on last stage fell back from 2nd to 3rd position.

    Andreas Aigner made a one-off comeback with a Fabia S2000 by BRR, won 2 stages, but hat to retire. Other retirements were Niki Mayr-Melnhof (Fiesta R5) and Christian Schubert-Mirlik (Fabia R5).
