In France there will be THE biggest awaited event this week-end: the Finale de la Coupe de France des rallyes held in Châteauroux this year
Fantastic entrylist despite the absence of WRCs/S2000s(forbidden by FFSA rules)with many potential winners coming from all around France

Tom
I've seen reference to this in French rally annuals. Is this event a one off or it the final round of a championship? And if so does the final round change each year?

Petr Hozák who practicaly missed this season (gr. N Czech rallysprint champion 2007), will start in 2009 Rallysprint champioship with Impreza WRC (05?) from Hungarian Korda Racing (usualy used by Herzig). He should use the car in Prague Rally Show in december for the first time.
There should be more WRC in Prague than last year. Trojan and Brynda confirmed in Octavias WRC. Trněný in Fabia. Pech, Triner, Peták will probably use WRC as well. Another possible ones are Drotár or Gergely Szabó...Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump
Variety. With 4-5 tarmac rallies in calendar, it's good to have some successor to circuit-like Catalunya. Rally wasn't super interesting but wasn't that bad either, I liked saturday stages more....
