    RIP Peter Warr

    Peter Warr, who was best known as a former team boss of the Lotus Formula 1 outfit, has passed away.

    He was just about as much Lotus as Colin Chapman.
    I only talked to him 3 or 4 times.

    Most drivers hated him and his Hitler-esque management skills, Mansell in particular.

    Didn't he say something like: "Mansell will never win a race as long as hole in my anus"

    Well I know that the mechanics and some of the engineers didn't particularly like Warr.

    I'm sure I read somewhere Warr and De Angelis had frequent arguments and not just the question of parity with Mansell in 1984.
