Yes, that is a 1.3 mile road course. There is also other tracks built within this facility. A 1/5 & 1/4 mile oval, 7/16 mile road course, and a 1/8 mile dragstrip.

The road course is a joke. Grand-Am tried it a few years back. It was pretty much a disaster. Too small mainly.

Iowa is a nice facility and has good racing. Can't wait!

The schedule of events is interesting. The spectator gates don't open until 1pm on Saturday, despite on track practice in the am. Iowa Speedway reports they don't have the funding to open the gates in the am, as in previous years. They are also limiting cold pit passes to either one day passes for Sunday only or two day passes at a cost of 60.00. Sad to see how this track is not as fan friendly as past years. I am saving my money for Watkins Glen and four days of racing!
